Allegra-D Information

An allergy is a very unpleasant disease, especially its seasonal form. People suffering from chronic seasonal allergy react to pollen or poplar seed tufts and shudder at the coming season as they feel rotten. Allegra-D is a modern drug for allergy treatment consisting of antihistamine fexofenadine (to inhibit histamine, the main cause of an allergy) and pseudoephedrine reducing edema of mucous membrane in the nose and respiratory tracts eliminating stuffiness in nose.


Allegra-D is indicated in various symptoms of allergy, from cold and stuffiness in nose to skin itching. Allegra-D is supplied in the form of pills with 60 or 180mg fexofenadine. Depending on organism sensitiveness to antihistamine and on allergy symptoms, high or low dose is prescribed. There are two main forms of Allegra-D, one works for 12 hours, and the second - for a day. Accordingly, the first is taken twice a day, for action of the second dose one taking is sufficient.


Allegra-D is safe even in long application. Provided that an individual follows a prescribed dosage and takes regularly the drug, Allegra-D won't cause any adverse side-effects and even if there any reaction to the drug, usually it easily passes. Allegra-D doesn't cause sleepiness and sluggishness like many other anti-allergy medications, so it can be taken in the morning. In this case the drug fully protects an organism from an allergy for the whole day. Regular use of Allegra-D allows not to notice flowering or poplar seed tufts.
